Indian Institute of Technology (IIT ), Gandhinagar, has invited applications for its Ph.D programmes. Interested candidates need to send in applications before February 20, 2014.
Courses offered:
The applicant must have at least 55 per cent marks or 5.5 CPI marks in M.A/ M.Sc/B.Tech/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in appropriate discipline.
Residential requirement:
Regular candidates are required to stay on campus whereas external candidates have to say on campus for a minimum of one year.
For candidates under Faculty Development Program, currently two years of residency requirement after completion of one year of advanced admission is followed.
Admission procedure:
Candidates are short-listed for the Ph.D programme on the basis of their performance in the interview conducted by the institute which is supplemented by a written test if necessary.
The final selection will be mainly based on academic credentials, written test and/or interview.
