Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Recruitment for Constable / Driver Posts 2016
Applications are invited from Male Indian citizens for filling up the following temporary posts of Constables/Driver in Central Industrial Security Force in the Pay Band – 1 Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- (Pre-revised) plus usual and admissible allowances to the Central Government employees from time to time. They will be governed under CISF Act and Rules as well as Central Civil Services Rules applicable to other members of the Force and other Acts and Rules applicable from time to time. On appointment they shall be entitled for the pension benefits as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” applicable for the new entrants to the Central Government services w.e.f. 01-01-2004.

Educational Qualification :
Age Limit : Between 21 and 27 years. The crucial date for determining age limit will be the closing date for receipt of application from the candidates i.e.19.11.2016 including for the candidates of North East region.

- Educational certificate other than State Board/Central Board should be accompanied with Government of India notification declaring that such qualification is equivalent to Matric/10th class pass for service under Central Government.

Medical Standard :
(1) The person who seeks appointment for the above post shall fulfil the SHAPE-1 medical standard.
(2) For this purpose (1) “SHAPE-I” shall mean the medical category as specified by the
Ministry of Home Affairs or the Force, from time to time is S - Psychiatric problems, H
- Hearing (Ear diseases), A - Appendages pertains to the problems of upper or lower limbs, that is arms and legs, P - Factor is related to other disease like Hypertension (High Blood Pressure), Cardiac disease (Heart Diseases), Diabetes (High Sugar), Obesity (being Fat - overweight), Cancer, etc. and E - Eye sight or Eye diseases.

Remarks : Binocular vision is required.
iii) The candidate must not have knock knees, flat foot, Varicose vein and squint in eyes.
They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. Candidates having permanent tattoo on any part of the body will be debarred for recruitment in CISF.
