Applications are invited for the position of the Junior Research Fellow in the Microbial Engineering at University of IAR, Gandhinagar.
Job description: The selected candidate will work on cutting-edge of synthetic biology where we want to build a gene circuit for chemical production, biosensor and biotechnological applications. Project entitled “Design and construction of synthetic circuits in Escherichia coli” at School of Biological Sciences & Biotechnology, University and Institute of Advanced Research, Koba Institutional Area, Koba, Gandhinagar-382 007, Gujarat.
Position: Junior Research Fellow Rs. 12,000/- per month consolidated
No. of Post: 01
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences) or M. Tech Biotechnology/Biochemical Engineering with minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable Qualifications: NET (JRF&/LS) qualified candidates will be preferred. Candidate should have strong biological understanding and expertise in Genetic Engineering, Systems Biology, Microbiology and Bioinformatics are encouraged to apply.
Age limit: 28 years or below
