Posts:

• General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs): 74 Posts
• (a) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section(3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• (b) Completion of the compulsory rotating internship.
• Specialist Doctors: 17 Posts
• (a) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section(3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• (b) Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned Specialty as mentioned in Section- A or Section-B of Schedule-VI or equivalent. 
• (c) Experience. 1 Y2 years experience for Post Graduate degree holder & 2 % years for Diploma holder in the concerned speciality after obtaining the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent.

Medical Examination: Immediately after interview on the same day candidates
will be medically examined by a Board of Medical Officers detailed by concerned Composite
Hospital. The appointment will be subject to Physical fitness.

Remuneration: 
(i) For Specialists: Rs.85,000/- p.m.
(ii) For GDMOs: Rs.75,000/- p.m.

Age Limit: All doctors appointed will not continue on the post once he/she reaches 67 years of age.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on an interview.

How to Apply: Suitable and willing candidates may WALK IN FOR INTERVIEW at scheduled places along with original and photocopies of all relevant documents (like Graduate Degree, internship completion certificate, age proof and experience certificate if any etc) and application in plain paper superscribing the name of post applied for "in the State/area/region and five passport size recent photographs. The Directorate General of SSB will finally decide the place of posting state/area/region etc with the approval of the competent authority.
