State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) Core Faculty Vacancies
State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) Core Faculty Vacancies : The SIRD is an autonomous training institute set up by the Government of Gujarat to undertake the training and capacity building of all rural development stakeholders. It invites applications for Core Faculty. for carrying out the activities related to training programmes for rural development on contractual basis for a minimum period of 11 months. The selected candidate will be given a fixed salary of Rs.25000-per month.

Qualification: (I) Post Graduate degree of Rural Development /Management /Social Work
from any recognized University (MRSIMRM!MSW) or Candidates who have experience in
field of rural development but do not have a degree in rural development may also apply.
However they must have a graduation degree from any recognized University, with minimum
55% marks.
Experience: Minimum Experience of 5 years in the field of Rural Development and Computer
knowledge with MS Office is compulsory. Preference will be given to candidates who have
experience in imparting training in MGNREGA, Watershed Development, Panchayati Raj,
decentralized governance, and rural livelihood sector. Additional weight-age will be given to
candidates who have post graduate or PhD in the relevant sector and experience in imparting,
the training in rural development sector Candidates having any relevant publications may also
mention the same. Only those candidates who have the requisite experience and qualification as
above will be called for a personal interview. The short listed candidates will be informed by
mail accordingly. If applicants have an email their email address may be mentioned for speedy
communication.
