RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR (STENOGRAPHER/HEAD CONSTABLE)
Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force invites applications from eligible male & female Indian citizens for filling up the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) and Head Constable (Combatant Ministerial), Group-‘C’non-gazetted as given below in the Pay Band-1, Rs 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,800/- per month (for ASI) and 2,400/- per month (for HC) & other allowances as admissible in the Force:-

Note:-
- 10% of the vacancies in each category are reserved for Ex-servicemen except vacancies advertised for the post of ASI/Steno (Departmental) and Head Constable/Combatant Ministerial (Departmental) above.
- Though there is no gender based reservation, but ITBPF encourages recruitment of women candidates in these posts.
(i) Age : Between 18 years to 25 years for ASI (Steno) and HC (Combatant Ministerial).
(Cutoff date for determining the age will be 01.08.2015)
(Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category candidates. The Government servants and Ex- Servicemen candidates shall also be given due relaxation in age as per the orders issued by the central Government in this regard from time to time)
(ii) Basic Qualifications
For the post of ASI/Steno (Direct Entry and Departmental) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent; and
(b) Skill test norms on computer:-
- Dictation-10 minutes @ 80 words per minute.
- Transcription- 50 minutes in English on computer or
65 minutes in Hindi on computer.
For the post of HC/Combatant Ministerial (Direct Entry and Departmental)
a) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent and (b) Skill test norms on computer:-
Typing speed of 35 Words per minute in English or 30 Words per minute in Hindi only on computer.
