UPSC Advt No 17/2015 for Various Vacancies: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification for Various Vacancies.

Name of the Posts:

• Senior  Scientific  Officers  Grade-II (Mechanical): 09 Posts
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
• 35 year
• Joint Secretary  and Legislative Counsel (Hindi  Branch): 01 Post
• Master’s degree in Law (LLM) from a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act; a Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government; 
• Should have been a member of State Judicial Service for a period of thirteen years; Or Should have held a post in the Legal Department of a State Government for thirteen years; Or Should have been a Central Government Servant who has had experience in Legal Affairs for thirteen years; Or Should have been a qualified legal practitioner* who has practiced as such for thirteen years; Or Should have been a teacher of Law for thirteen years in a recognized Institution; Or Should have thirteen years’ experience of translation into Hindi of statutes, statutory rules and orders in Central Government or State Government; Or Should have thirteen years’ experience of drafting of statutes in Central / State Government; OR (B) (i) Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a University established or incorporated by or under a Central Act; a Provincial Act or a State Act or any institution for higher education deemed to be a University by the Central Government or any other institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government;(ii) Should have been a member of State Judicial Service for a period of fifteen years; Or Should have held a post in the Legal Department of a State Government for fifteen years; Or Should have been a Central Government Servant who has had experience in Legal Affairs for fifteen years; Or Should have been a qualified legal practitioner* who has practiced as such for fifteen years; Or Should have been a teacher of Law for fifteen years in a recognized Institution; Or Should have fifteen years’ experience of translation into Hindi of statutes, statutory rules and orders in Central Government or State Government; Or Should have fifteen years’ experience of drafting of statutes in Central Government or State Government; and (iii) Passed Secondary School Examination or any higher Examination from a recognized board or university or Institution through Hindi medium or had offered Hindi as a subject in Secondary School Examination or any higher examination from a recognized board or university or any institution or foreign University approved by the Central Government

• B.E. / B.Tech in (Civil Engineering) and ME /M Tech in Soil Mechanics/Foundation Engineering/Geo Technical Engineering /Soil Dynamics/Transportation Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B. Tech or ME / M.Tech and Ph. D or equivalent with specialization in Soil Mechanics/Foundation Engineering/Geo Technical Engineering /Soil Dynamics/Transportation Engineering. 
• Post Ph. D publications and guiding Ph. D student is highly desirable.
• 50 year
• Associate  Professor: 01 Post
• B.E. / B.Tech in C.S.E. / I.T. / I.C.T. and ME /M Tech in C.S.E./I.T. / I.C.T. with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B. Tech or ME / M.Tech and Ph.D or equivalent with specialization in Algorithms / Software Engineering / Theoretical Computer Science / Data Base.
• Post Ph. D publications and guiding Ph. D student is highly desirable.
• 50 year
• Associate  Professor: 01 Post
• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and ME/M Tech in Mechanical Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B. Tech or ME /M.Tech and PH D or equivalent with specialization in Fluid Mechanics / Strength of Material / Mechanics.
• Post Ph D publications and guiding Ph D student is highly desirable. 
• 50 year
• Associate  Professor: 01 Post
• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering and ME/M Tech in Soil Mechanics / Foundation Engineering / Geo Technical Engineering /Soil Dynamics /Geoinformatics /Surveying /Remote Sensing & Photogrammeric Engineering /Geomatics with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B. Tech or ME / M.Tech and Ph D or equivalent with specialization in any area related to Soil Mechanics /Foundation Engineering/ Geo Technical Engineering /Soil Dynamics /Geoinformatics /Surveying/Remote Sensing & Photogrammeric Engineering / Geomatics. 
• Post Ph D publications and guiding Ph D student is highly desirable.
• 50 year

Selection Process: Selection will based on recruitment test followed by interview.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
