South Western Railway (SWR), Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Hubli Recruitment against Sports (Open Advertisement) Quota. Applications are invited from the Indian Citizens for filling up 46 Vacancies (Unreserved) posts against Zonal / Railway Sports Quota to be recruited in Group ‘C’ and Erstwhile Group ‘D’ for the Year 2015-2016.

Pay Scale:
Group C - Pay Band-1 ₹ 5200-20200 with Grade Pay ₹ 1900 / 2000/-
Erstwhile Group D - Pay Band-1 ₹ 5200-20200 with Grade Pay ₹ 1800/-
Minimum Educational Qualification:
Minimum Sports Norms:
Examination Fee: ₹ 100/- (inclusive postal expenses). No fee for SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWD / Women / Minorities Economically Backward Classes. The exam fee should be paid in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) Only.

18 to 25 Years as on 01/01/2016 (i.e. must have been born not earlier 02nd January 1991 and not later than 1st January 1998). No Age Relalxation.

Pay Scale:
Group C - Pay Band-1 ₹ 5200-20200 with Grade Pay ₹ 1900 / 2000/-
Erstwhile Group D - Pay Band-1 ₹ 5200-20200 with Grade Pay ₹ 1800/-
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Group 'C' : Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions. Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship / ITI approved by NCVT / SCVT.
- Erstwhile Group 'D' : Candidates should possess the qualification of 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent. Candidates appearing at and/or awaiting results of the final examinations of 10th or ITI or equivalent on the date of application are not eligible to apply. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions.
Minimum Sports Norms:
- Sportsperson desirous of applying for the posts in PB-1 ₹ 5200-20200 + Grade Pay ₹ 1900/2000 (Group 'C' Posts) :
- (I) Represented the country In the International championships/events either in World Cup (Junior/Senior Category) / World Championships (Junior/Senior Category) / Asian Games (Senior Category (/Common wealth Games (Senior Category). (OR)
- (II) Obtained atleast 3rd position in Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category)/ Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category)/South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category) / USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category). (OR)
- (III) Obtained atleast 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships.(OR)
- (IV) Obtained atleast 3d position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association. (OR)
- (V) Obtained atleast 3rd position m All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. (OR)
- (VI) Obtained 1st position In Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
- Sportspersons desirous of applying for the posts in PB-1 ₹ 5200-20200 + Grade Pay ₹ 1800 (Erstwhile Group 'D' Posts) :
- (I) Represented the country in Championship in either Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category) / Asian Championships / Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior Category) / South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category) / USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category). (OR)
- (II) Obtained atleast 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category). (OR)
- (III) Represented a State of equivalent Unit, except In Marathon and Cross Country, in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships. (OR)
- (IV) Obtained atleast 3rd position in Senior State Championships for all units and Districts of the state.
