The Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) is looking for Managing Director, who would be the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company. THe last date for submission of applications is 20th April 2016.
About: GSECL is a power generation company. It is a 100% subsidiary of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. GSECL has been playing very important role in making Gujarat a Power Surplus State. GSECL currently has generation capacity of over 6,300 MW based on Coal, Lignite, Gas, Hydel and Solar Power Plants spread across the State and is currently implementing 1x800 MW capacity addition project at Wanakbori Thermal Power Station.
Eligibility: Degree in Engineering from a reputed institute/ University. He /She should possess minimum post qualification experience of 20 years in the field of Power Generation of which 10 years should be in senior management position in a State Electricity Board or Power Generation Company in Public or Private Sector having not less than 2000 MW of installed capacity. The candidate should possess outstanding management skills and sound technical knowledge.
