Posts : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Qualification(s): M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic) with NET (LS)/ GATE.
Desirable: Experience in synthetic organic chemistry, and/or homogeneous catalysis.

Date of Interview: October 20, 2016

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. plus HRA as admissible.

Age: Candidates should not be more than 28 years as on the date of interview. However, the upper age limit may be relaxed as per CSIR rules.

Job Description: Selected candidate has to work on the DST sponsored project entitled: “Development of New Reactions via Cooperative Catalysis” The main objective of this project is to develop homogeneous catalyst systems that work in a cooperative fashion to achieve otherwise challenging organic transformations.

How to Apply: Interested candidates are requested to appear before the Selection Committee for written test/interview on 20th October 2016 at 9.30 A.M. in this Institute. The candidates may contact Dr Sukalyan Bhadra (Principal Investigator), Division of Inorganic Materials & Catalysis, CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar-364002, Gujarat. The candidate is requested to send an application giving full particulars such as (1) Full name and postal address with e-mail and Phone No., (2) Date of birth and (3) Educational qualifications and experience (if any) together with the scanned copies of certificates/ testimonials, by email to [email protected].

The candidates are also requested to bring the following documents during the interview:
1.  Original Certificates(s), Marksheet(s) (Degree/Diploma, etc.) of the educational qualifications, certificate in support of the date of birth etc.
2.  Original Experience Certificates, Testimonials etc.
3.  In case the candidate is employed in a Government/Semi-Government or Autonomous Organization, he/she should bring a No Objection Certificate from the present employer. Otherwise, he/she will have to give a declaration that at present he/she is unemployed.
These posts are purely temporary for a duration of sponsored project only. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR. No travelling or any other allowances is admissible for attending the interview.
