Applications invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on the project ‘Spatio-Temporal Analysis of Sea Ice Condition and Icebergs over the Polar Regions using ScatSat Data’

Duration : One year, extendable to one more year, depending on the performance

Essentials : M.Sc.(Mathematics) + minimum 1 year research experience

The candidate should have good mathematics background and knowledge of oceanography, along with basics of sea-ice. Knowledge of programming languages like MATLAB/C/C++is essential. The candidate must be accustomed with image processing software ERDAS IMAGINE.

Fellowship : As per DST norms

The interested candidates must attend the walk in interview scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on 17th March, 2017 and report to Committee Room, E – Block, School of Technology, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar.
