Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on an interview.

Candidates should bring a copy of the application, one passport size photo and one set of all certificates along with originals at the time of interview. Interested candidates are requested to appear before the Selection Committee for written test followed by interview to be held on 17.07.2017 (9.30 AM - 1.00 PM) at CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The selected / suitable candidate will have the possibility of Ph.D. enrollment. Specific queries if any, may be addressed to [email protected]

The Division of Marine Biotechnology and Ecology of CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar is actively engaged in multidisciplinary research in frontier areas of modern Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology such as stress genomics & proteomics, transgenic, and promoter analysis. We are looking for young, talented & motivated persons (M.Sc. in Plant Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Plant Science) for an ongoing project “Genetic Engineering of Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) using a Novel Salt and Drought Responsive Gene for Enhanced Abiotic Stress Tolerance”
