Requirement of Junior Research Fellow

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is looking for meritorious young researchers for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF – 01 Post) for the project titled“Urban Air Quality Assessment using Remote Sensing and GIS”under ISRO’s Earth Observation Applications Mission Programme funded by Space Application Centre, Department of Space.

Eligibility :

• M.E./M.Tech. In Civil / Environmental Engineering or other relevant discipline or equivalent qualification
OR
• M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences or related discipline with 1 year of experience
OR
• B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil / Environmental Engineering or other relevant discipline with NET qualification

Desired Skills : 

• Modelling experience using tools / Software like Artificial Neural Network, WRF, Envi-MET, ERDAS ENVI is highly desirable

Duration : One year, (May be extended to 2nd and 3rd year based on the performance)

Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- + (HRA will be granted after approval from SAC, Department of Space)
