Posts:

•  Junior research fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant Level II (PA-II): 1 Post
• Qualification: 
• For JRF: M.Sc Chemistry with NET qualification.
• For Project Assistant II: M.Sc Chemistry with minimum 55% marks;
• Fellowship: Rs. 25000/- + HRA [for JRF] /  Rs. 25000/- (Consolidated) [for   PA-II]
• Job description: The selected candidate will be involved in the works related to sensing methodologies for evaluation of amino acids, design, testing and validation of protocols, device performance evaluation under controlled and field test conditions.    
• Age limit: 28 years for JRF and 30 years for Project Assistant-II as on date of interview (age relaxation as per CSIR rule).  
• Junior research fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant Level II: 1 Post
• Qualification:   
• For JRF: ME/MTech in Electronics/Instrumentation or MSc/MS in Electronics/Instrumentation with NET/GATE  or BE/BTech in Electronics /Instrumentation with NET/GATE   
• For Project Assistant II: M.Sc/MS/BE/BTech in Electronics/Instrumentation with minimum 55% marks
• Fellowship: Rs. 25000/- + HRA [for JRF] / Rs. 25000/- (Consolidated) [for                      PA-II]
• Job description: The selected candidate will be involved in the development of device and validation, including optical and electronics design and modelling, embedded programming, data handling and processing, testing and performance evaluation under simulated and field test conditions.
• Age limit: 28 years for JRF and 30 years for Project Assistant II as on date of interview (age relaxation as per CSIR rule).   

Duration for both positions: Till June, 2020

The selected candidates holding post-graduate qualification have a bright opportunity for pursuing PhD degree.

General Conditions:-
Interested candidates are requested to appear before the Selection Committee for personal interview (additional written test for Project Assistant Level II) along with Application Form (proforma as given in the advertisement), two sets of all certificates and originals as well as two passport size photos on 30 July 2018 (10:00 AM) at CSIR-CSMCRI, G. B. Marg, Bhavnagar-364002, Gujarat India. The posts are purely temporary for duration of sponsored project only. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR.

No travelling or any other allowances will be paid for attending the interview.
