Posts: Director
Applications are invited for the appointment of Director from distinguished academicians/scholars of law with published works of high quality to their credit with minimum of ten years of experience as Professor of Law in a University; or ten years of experience in a reputed research and/or academic administrative or legal organization with proof of having demonstrated academic leadership. The person possessing the highest level of competence, integrity, morals and institutional commitment is to be appointed as Director and shall not be more than 65 years of age. The Director shall hold office for a term of five years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further term only, as per the University Act.
The eligible Persons or institutions desirous of sponsoring the names of outstanding Scholars in Law, may duly forward their detailed Curriculum Vitae with recommendations, for consideration, in a sealed cover marked “Confidential – Application for the post of Director” to be received on or before the last date by registered/speed post addressed to, The Chairman, Search Committee, Gujarat National Law University, Attalika Avenue, Knowledge Corridor, Koba, Gandhinagar-382426, Gujarat, INDIA. A copy of the application shall also be mailed to [email protected] .
The Search Committee duly constituted as per the regulations of the University reserves the right to appropriately consider or reject the received applications.
