Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is a premier, national Institute engaged in teaching, research, consulting, and mid-career education in rural management. Founded in 1979, IRMA’s mission is to promote all-around sustainable rural development through professional management.
IRMA Requires Junior Research Fellow for Verghese Kurien Centre of Excellence (VKCoE) VKCoE is actively engaged in research, consultancy, extension, and outreach while striving to contribute to the Dairy and Cooperative sector policies, including agriculture cooperatives and other forms of organizations. We are looking to hire a highly motivated individual to work full-time on various assignments.
Job Responsibilities: • Drafting research proposals, analyzing data, and drafting research reports. • Designing survey instruments and data collection. • Monitoring fieldwork mainly focussed on rural-based collective organizations, farmers, dairies. • Helping in content creation for press and social media accounts. • Helping in administrative and coordination work to VKCoE Chairperson.
Essential Qualification: Basic degree in dairy/veterinary/agribusiness/mass communication discipline. Preference will be given to candidates having a master’s degree and having knowledge of content creation for social media.
Remuneration: Consolidated remuneration in the range of Rs.25,000/- to 35,000/- per month. Duration: Appointments will be made purely on a contract basis till 31st March 2022.
Age: Below 35 years. Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed. The selected candidate shall be expected to join immediately. IRMA reserves the right to accept/reject any application. Relaxation in qualification/experience may be considered by IRMA in the case of an exceptional candidate.
